Lost In
MISSISSIPPI

Welcome to the Lost In Mississippi homepage, created to further genealogy research for those also documenting their Mississippi lines.  Most of my deadends are in Mississippi, without documentation, and sharing information has been the best resource I've found. If you are researching PARKER, MACKINNON, or HERRINGTON lines, click on "Mississippi Lines."  DAVIS, LEWIS, MALONE, or WILLIAMS researchers in South Alabama, click on "Alabama Lines."  GOODWIN, CONNETT, HAND, FOX, and THAYER researchers, click on "Yankees."

You'll find reports on each of the families, plus any clues I've heard  from family members.  Also -- a wish list of what I'm trying to find out about these ancestors.  I hope we can connect and help each other.  Please e-mail me if you recognize any of these folks.

"Queries" will list your queries -- feel free to e-mail me,  I'll post them.  "Advise and Lament" is my self-serving column on various topics. And finally,  "Books" is a review of genealogy and other books I've read, with a link to Amazon.com.

This site is designed, owned, maintained by me, Elizabeth Parker. Thanks for stopping by.  Last updated:
