Based on information received from Don Raney of Garland, Tx decendent of
Glennie Elizabeth Harrington b. 4 Sep 1871. I believe that I have made the
missing connection to one of the first Harrington's to set foot on the soil of
the New world. Edward Harrington who died at Jamestown Colonist who apparently
died of starvation in 1607 who was with Captain John Smith's first expodition
to the New Wordl. I beleive that the Edward Harrington born in England in 1594
was his son and would have been 13 years of age when his father died. Knowing
the events around the death of his father in Jamestown would have stired the
adventure in him to make the trip to the New World. This warrents further
investigation before I will be convenced as to the apprent connection.
